Wreaths and Science

We sold wreaths this past weekend outside in the foggy fog fog freezing. It was two and one half-hours of chilly fall weather. We had a nice booth set up to sell these Christmas wreaths in front of a furniture store, the other booth was in front of a Starbucks manned by our fellow roboteers, but they only sold one measly wreath. Cielle and I sold three, and we got some nice donations too, about $10 worth. We went out at 11 after getting a peppermint mocha and a coffeecake we were set to go for at least an hour. We started to freeze and get bored, and the fog wasn't letting up. We got out our Kurt Vonnegut books and began to read passages out of them, then some people started to wonder what we were doing, that’s when we got Ms Gentle to buy one. Two guys with nice sweaters donated. One of them had a funny accent I assume he was from New Zealand, he looked like the type. He came up and had the courage to just ask if he could have some candy, I said "Yes take as many as you want," so he took a red one, then I urged him to take one of each color, that’s when he took out his wallet. After donating he slyly slid his hand into the candy bowl again, took a different color, and left with his bike. Some people just asked us, "What's Robotics?" and then we told them, and then they walked away, we wasted our words. Cielle left to go on a search for warmer socks and failed to find gloves for me, but she found some rather interesting socks none the less. After the morning people stopped feeling sorry for us so they stopped donating, then we were forced out of the booth by our fellow roboteers around 1:30 pm, and I went to get my haircut Cielle came too.

Also if my science teacher is reading this: You know what? I am not going to pay you so I can get a better grade, thats bribery. Seriously.

The fog never let up the whole day, and it is still foggy. And last night was the first major freeze, and everyone froze, all of the people,
froze.

EVERYONE, should love New Zealand accents. Hey and you know what? If ANYONE were to ask me what is noocoolaarr? and meant, what is robotics? I think they'd be very inhumane and therefore thrown off a cliff.
